Located: Via Nasca-Puquio 82 km (528 km from Lima)
4,000 meters over sea level.

Its three hours from Nasca and by a totally asphalted road you arrive to an natural protected area called National Pampas Galeras Reserve "Barbara D´Achille" where animals of the Andean region in a very particular way the Vicuña is protected.The vicunna is represented in the National Shield of the Peru.

In this place, outdoor activities can be developed, such as photographic safari, walks, horse riding. In June 24 you can participate in the ritual of the "chaku" or it shears jointly of vicuñas with the native communities of the place.

It is very interesting to observe the evolution of the vegetation in the different ecological floors crossed in the trip.
